Bursary Award

The College Bursary Award Fund has been established to financially assist members to advance their education in the field of medical laboratory technology. The College ensures that the interest from a restricted fund investment is available to support the funding requirements of the Awards Program on an annual basis.

Parameters:

1.     Total annual awards will not exceed term deposit annual interest income.

2.     Funds will be distributed to qualifying applicants on a pro-rated basis based on the interest funds available.

3.     The maximum award funds available to each College member is $1500.00 in three years.

4.     Bursary Award applicants must be a College member in good standing in the year of application and for the two (2) previous consecutive years.

5.     Priority will be given to all courses related to professional development in the field of medical laboratory technology.

6.     Applications must be received by December 31 of the year that the course is successfully completed.

7.     Applications will be reviewed after receipt of final marks.  Proof of successful completion of the course must be submitted to the College Office prior to disbursement of Bursary monies.

8.     Original receipts must be submitted.  They will be returned following verification.
