About the College

The Alberta College of Medical Laboratory Technologists (College) is the regulatory body for the profession of medical laboratory technology in Alberta. We protect and serve the public, patients, and our members by setting entrance to practice requirements, creating and enforcing a Continuing Competence Program, and instituting a formal process for the adjudication of complaints of unprofessional conduct. We regulate and guide the profession helping to ensure Alberta Medical Laboratory Technologists provide safe and professional services.
